Our Story

This Is Not a Restaurant

In the kitchens of the seventh Nizam of Hyderabad, one cook held the seal at the hour of the royal durbar. His recipe survived a dissolved court and a divided subcontinent — carried, not copied, across generations.

Riyasat is where that seal opens again. When you eat with us, the saffron that once coloured a Nizam’s table colours yours.

Why Riyasat

Crafted with Sovereignty. Served with Intent.

  • Fit for a Court Table

Aged basmati, hand-picked whole spices and toppings sourced to one standard only — the standard that once fed royalty.

  • A Recipe, Not a Copy

Nothing here is standardised for scale. Every biryani follows the same inherited hand — measured by instinct, not a manual.

  • Sealed. Slow. Undisturbed.

Dum is a ritual of patience — the handi sealed shut, the rice and toppings left to trust each other over slow fire, unopened until its time.

  • Considered to the Last Detail

From the handi to the packaging to the hand that delivers it — every touchpoint is built to be worthy of what’s inside it.
